Sofas and Stuff

This Christmas, we invite you into the homes of three extraordinary families as we uncover the uncommon threads that make their festive celebrations unique.

From meaningful traditions and heartfelt rituals to the thoughtful decorative details that bring their homes to life, their stories are a reminder that no two Christmases - or homes - are ever the same.

Inspired by their personal stories and distinctive style, we celebrate the beauty of homes that tell a story - and invite you to embrace your own.

These three fascinating individuals have each collaborated with us to create a bespoke sofa that reflects their unique style and home. Christmas is the perfect time to explore this journey - a time when the sofa becomes the heart of celebrations, a place to gather, connect, and create lasting memories.

Milli Proust

Milli lives with her young son, partner and two dogs in a rural 17th-century cottage in Sussex, which she transformed into a thriving flower business. Nature inspires Milli’s ‘go with the flow’ way of life. She embraces both the beauty of nature and the rhythm of family life, creating a warm and welcoming home in the woods.

“Christmas to me is a chance to really celebrate winter…the chance to bring huge boughs into the house and fill the house with lights and delicious smells and people and family.”

Rohan Heath and Lou Rhodes

Musician Rohan Heath and his partner, singer-songwriter Lou Rhodes, live in a 19th-century townhouse in Hampstead, where they create music and share life together. Their home blends vintage finds with contemporary touches, all enhanced by the "patina of an old house."

Their Christmas reflects both the contrasts of their individual stories and synergy of their shared life: Rohan’s inherited bauble collection, which grows each year, complements Lou’s love of simple rituals that bring their families together.

Greta Bellamacina

Actor and poet Greta Bellamacina’s Georgian home, shared with her artist husband and their two children, is a vibrant reflection of their creativity, adorned with paintings and poetry installations. Nurturing and always evolving, ‘it feels like a place for possibilities and dreams”.

For Greta, Christmas is both an opportunity to create magic, her glowing interiors contrasting the velvety darkness of their rural surroundings, and a chance to be present with family, “locking the doors to the world, spending time together.”
